This interior remodel transforms two separate condominiums into one expansive, entertainment-focused residence that balances social gathering spaces with intimate living areas. The design celebrates the fusion of luxury and functionality, creating a sophisticated environment that reflects the clients’ lifestyle.
Wood-clad slab walls serve as the organizational backbone of the space, their strategic placement responding to the building’s existing infrastructure while establishing natural zones throughout the open floor plan. These architectural elements are complemented by shorter dividing features crafted from bronze, glass panels, and leather mosaic, introducing varied textures and visual interest.
Unifying the entire space is a hand-scraped wood floor that elegantly bridges old and new sections while connecting public and private domains. The thoughtful material palette and spatial composition create a rich, cohesive environment that captures Austin’s contemporary cosmopolitan energy while maintaining warmth and livability.
