David is the Principal, founder, and heart of Webber + Studio, which he founded in 1997. Born and raised in Austin, TX, David achieved his Bachelor of Architecture with Highest Honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1992.
David’s commitment to his craft is evidenced not only by the award-winning designs he creates, but also by the exemplary team he leads. In addition to his numerous accomplishments as a distinguished architect, David is a gifted manager, mentor, and friend to each and every young designer he works with. He is passionate about building a better world and has served on the Board of Directors for Frameworks Community Development Corp., the Board of Directors for the Ballet Austin, AIA Austin’s Facilities Committee, and was a Co-Chair for the AIA National Committee on Design at the Spring 2017 Conference.
Stefan Bader, RA, LEED GA
Custom Residential Architect + Director
Stefan is a senior member of the Webber + Studio team, with more than ten years under his belt. As manager of the residential arm of our firm, Stefan leads his team of talented designers with a level of commitment, expertise, and enthusiasm that is simply unmatched in the industry. He runs a tight ship and sets high expectations for his team, the results of which are reflected in the award-winning architecture they create. He is driven by superior attention to detail and a technical steadfastness that benefits clients and colleagues alike.
Born in Würzburg, Germany, Stefan Bader graduated with a Diplom Engineer degree in architecture from the Technische Universität München. He was a Research and Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, School of Architecture at the Center of Sustainable Development. Stefan achieved a Master of Science in Sustainable Design at UTSoA and, upon graduating, began working at Rhode Partners with focus on residential, mixed-used residential, and hospitality projects in Austin. Stefan is fluent in German, English, and French. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife, son, and dog.
Marek Hnizda, AIA, LEED AP, BD + C
Multifamily + Commercial Director
After earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Maryland Baltimore County, Marek went on to earn both a Bachelor of Science as well as a Masters in Architecture at the University of Maryland. Marek embraces the dichotomy of build-ability, aesthetics, and attention to detail. Prior to joining Webber + Studio as a project manager in 2016, he worked at Bonstra | Haresign Architects in Washington D.C. for 8 years. Marek is fluent in Czech, English, and German.
Marek is a master hobbyist whose penchant for woodworking, machinery, marquetry, automotive design, and other handicrafts infuses his work as an architect. These passions are of particular value to our clients, who can rely on Marek’s acute design eye and quiet, confident leadership to carry a project through to completion. He is especially interested in building and construction and you will often find him on site managing the technical translation of 2D design into 3D reality.
Jeremy Zick
Strategic Advisor
Jeremy Zick leads with a vision. And as a Strategic Advisor to Webber + Studio, it’s his job to make opportunities happen every day. Whether that be spotting deals for real estate development projects, streamlining what might seem impossible, or strategically spotting what others might miss–Jeremy works to monetize how a strong desire for a sense of community drives the needs of today’s business and development world. In his words: anyone can create a blueprint; it’s how that blueprint adds value, improves lives, and elevates sought-after lifestyles that define success.
A world traveler, sailor, and musician, Jeremy returned to the U.S. after previously leading Lifeafar in Medellin, Colombia. As president there, he led the expansion of this travel lifestyle + investment + asset management company from a small startup to a team of more than 100+ people in five Latin American cities and two countries. An architect and designer by training, Jeremy loves rolling up his sleeves and getting dirty while overseeing business operations, recruiting top executive talent, and building brands that span the globe. His experience building a company from scratch in a developing country has provided the entrepreneurial expertise and track record to spot and translate deals, hit financial projections, and serve as a leader in the global real estate development world.
Jeremy holds a Bachelors degree in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado in Boulder, where he earned honors in sustainable and green architecture.

Hayden is passionate about cultivating a productive work environment, maximizing efficiency, and analyzing processes with an eye towards optimization.
In her free time, you’ll find Hayden in the pool, playing pub trivia, singing karaoke, reading, or serving as Executive Slice President of the Austin Cake Club. She has auditioned for Jeopardy three times (so far).
