With Austin’s increasing popularity has come a voracious interest from developers to snatch up a piece of land and build the most architecturally uninteresting and unappealing houses as quickly and as cheaply as they can. These designs oftentimes feature the combination of wildly discordant styles, regionally inappropriate materials, and an aesthetic that seems to just say: Bigger is Better. This isn’t really news to anyone.

[spacer height=”20px”]So when we were approached to be the design team behind Prairie Dog Development, we jumped at the chance to help steer the direction of residential architecture in this town that we love. We saw a possibility to bring good design to the masses and create buildings that will last both in terms of construction and design.

Our first two projects are in South Austin and Crestview and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see these properties transformed into something we can be proud to put our name on.

[spacer height=”20px”]This is a an exciting opportunity to step a little bit outside of our focus on custom residential design, which will always be our hallmark, and get good design in front of more people.
